Todd Carlson Bio:

With over 30 years of experience in the funeral profession, Todd has dedicated his career to helping funeral home owners grow their businesses and improve profitability in a rapidly changing marketplace. He works with funeral homes across the nation to implement innovative solutions in preneed marketing, technology, and service to the changing funeral consumer. Todd is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science.

Mike Hacker Bio:

Mike was born and raised in Muncy Valley, Sullivan County, a son of Marvin and Arla (Hunter) Hacker. A graduate of Sullivan County High School, Class of 1993, he earned a degree in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Mike started his career with McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home as an intern in 2002. He continued working for the Thomas family as a licensed funeral director until purchasing the funeral home on July 1, 2009. He is a member of the Valley United Methodist Church, Muncy Valley, the Muncy Lodge 299 F. & A. M., the Irem Temple Shrine, a charter member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 601, Sonestown, is past president of Central Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and currently serves as a board member and District 4 Governor for the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association. In his free time Mike enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Adrienne and Madalyn, and his granddaughter Blakeleigh. He also enjoys golfing, volunteering and working on his farm.

Patrick T. Lanigan Bio: 

Pat is a 1972 graduate of Indiana University of PA and a 1973 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He became a Licensed Funeral Director in 1975 and has owned and operated the Lanigan Funeral Home since 1975. He has served as President of both the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association and the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association. He was a member of the Executive Board of the National Funeral Directors Association from 2005 – 2007. He also has served as President of the Forest Hills Lions Club and the Westinghouse Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is a member and volunteer of St. Maurice Church in Forest Hills. Pat also is a member of the Board of the Caring Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, which sponsors the Caring Place, a center for grieving children.
