LAUREL HILL FUNERAL HOME HAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A RESIDENTIAL INTERN

 The funeral home is located on the grounds of Laurel Hill West, a 187 acre cemetery located in Bala Cynwyd. The cemetery is a very active burial site as well as an accredited arboretum, a unique recreational space and provides exceptional educational and community resources.

Reporting to the Funeral Services Manager, The Intern is responsible for serving families during services, removals, embalming, conducting funeral arrangements, and administrative duties, under the supervision of a licensed Funeral Director. The ideal candidate should be compassionate with strong organizational skills and a highly motivated professional desire to assist families. Weekend and evening on-call hours required.

SEEKING LICENSED FUNERAL DIRECTOR OR INTERN – DUGAN FUNERAL HOME, INC.

This long-standing family-owned funeral home with locations in Adams and Cumberland Counties in South Central Pennsylvania continues to grow. As a result, we are looking to add another enthusiastic, experienced, caring and detail-oriented Licensed Funeral Director and/or a Funeral Director Intern who wants to learn how to be a great multi-faceted funeral director. Duties include: answering phone, transfers, embalming, arrangements, calling hours, funerals, crematory transport, pre-need, and other various tasks that come with the profession.

Pay will be discussed based on experience.
